Health and Safety

…that successful management of health and safety has the benefit of improving the overall operation…

As a responsible corporate citizen, Man Dave Group recognizes that legislation provides a minimum standard in health and safety matters and has, wherever and whenever reasonably practicable, set and aimed to achieve high standards of health and safety.

All the subsidiaries under our Group, especially the oil and gas operation, recognize that the employees are their most valuable asset and as such, accept their duties as the employer to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of their employees and others not in their employment who may work, visit or enter their premises or be affected by their activities.

The Group accepts that successful management of health and safety has the benefit of improving the overall operation of our various arms by reducing injuries and illhealth, protecting the environment and reducing unnecessary loses and liabilities.

This conviction has led the Group to adopt the following resolutions on health and safety:

  • All our subsidiaries shall ensure that health and safety is fully integrated into all aspects of management and shall ensure effective systems are in place to monitor this.
  • All subsidiaries shall ensure that effective training is provided for all employees on matters of occupational health and safety
  • The Group shall ensure that health and safety performance is measured and reviewed by implementing an effective monitoring and audit programme
  • The subsidiaries shall provide a full occupational health service that shall be available for and accessible to all staff
  • The Group recognizes the need to involve and consult with its employees on all matters relating to health and safety and will actively seek to cooperate and support them in carrying out their functions
  • The Groups Health and Safety Policy shall be reviewed and updated as necessary or at intervals not exceeding two years.
